Join Afghan writer and activist Batool Haidari to explore the power of words and have a go at creative writing. Batool Haidari will be leading creative writing workshops for families (ages 5+) as part of the British Library’s Refugee Week event celebrating Afghan culture. The day also includes access to the British Library’s Afghan collections, carpet weaving workshops with artist Ghafar Tajmohammad (pictured left), and Afghan folktales with Jumana Moon.
The event will take place at H M Weinrebe Learning Centre, British Library London on 22 June, 11am and 13.30pm. Free but booking required.
